I was looking for something else to do outside of Madrid other than Toledo, Segovia which are pretty common. Its my first time to hear Cuenca and Enchanted City but despite that it exceeded my expectations. Cuenca is 2 hours away from Madrid, quite far but its worth your time as it will introduce you to other parts of Spain which are not known to many tourists. We started our Tour at Cuenca on top of the mountain and went all the way down to town which I think was perfect which saves us alot of energy. Plus our Tour Guide Fernando was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the city. After spending the entire morning upto Brunch, we headed next to Enchanted City which I think very interesting as you will see unique limestones formation which will let your imagination go wild. Lastly, we went to Devil's Window for a quick stop to enjoy the amazing view of the river right inside a cave like viewpoint. Overall, I really liked the tour and highly recommend to add on your itinerary.

A place to visit without a doubt. It is an exhausting but satisfying excursion, both to the Enchanting City and to Cuenca itself. We left at 8:30 a.m. from the Plaza del Conde de Casal, my family and I took the bus from Recoletos, line 14, which leaves you right there, it takes about 20 minutes both there and back, since the metro has to make transfers and it takes longer. The excursion lasts about eleven to twelve hours and thanks to the guide Fernando, who is a crack, it became very bearable for us, explaining every detail of the places we visited and the bus driver Laura, always attentive to everyone and giving us facilities to feel comfortable at all times. I would not like to tell anything about what I have seen because, as I say, you have to live them in person and so that each one values their experience.
