Full description
Climb aboard a comfortable electric bike with pedal assistance and journey through the history of Madrid with ease. Learn the story of the Spanish capital, from the days of the Habsburgs through to the 21st century. Discover attractions, such as the Plaza de Puerta Cerrada at the site of a Christian wall built in the Middle Ages. Depart from Plaza San Miguel and glide along the narrow streets to Calle Toledo and Plaza del Conde de Barajas to find a number of artisan shops. Discover one of the city’s gastronomic centers at the ornate San Miguel Market, and then navigate the cobblestones of Plaza Mayor at the heart of the 17th-century city center. Marvel at Casa y Torre de los Lujanes, the oldest civilian building in the city. Get an amazing view of Plaza de Oriente between the Royal Palace and Royal Opera Theater. Go to Plaza de la Armeria to see the main entrance of the palace and Almudena Cathedral. Visit the Sabatini Gardens in the palace complex, and see the glorious flora of the Campo del Moro. Escape the traffic and journey along the banks of the Manzanares River. Enjoy the tranquility of the area and the freedom to ride where you please. End at the Templo de Debod, gifted to Madrid by the Egyptian government following the construction of the Aswan High Dam.

Tour was good unfortunately is the combination electric bike and standard bikes together. Before the start it took quite a while before we left for a 3-hour trip half an hour later, but that was not added at the end so the trip was only 2.5 hours. Because it was fun, we left it at that

Our three hour electric bike tour of Madrid was excellent. Our guide Javier did a wonderful job leading us at a leisurely pace around many of Madrid’s most famous attractions. He had innumerable stories to tell and provided useful and interesting contextual and historical commentary that greatly enhanced our appreciation of the city. Highly recommend both the Tour, as enjoyable way to get around and see the sights, and Javier, our guide, who was professional, knowledgeable and easy going.

The tour guide shared interesting stories and was very friendly. Because rain was expected I ended up being alone on my tour (with just the guide) so that was actually pretty fun! The ride was really enjoyable, and worked out great for me considering a recent injury that made walking around town a bit slow. I gained a great appreciation for the city and am glad I did this instead of the hop on/hop off bus tour.
