The flamenco shows at Café Ziryab showcase different artists every week or so, offering a great variety of styles in dancing, guitar playing, and singing. Enjoy an 80-minute performance with your pre-booked admission ticket. On Fridays and Saturdays at 11:00 PM, established soloists and promising young talent are on stage for a late show. Shows attract those who are already part of the flamenco community, as well as a general audience of visitors interested in this rich art form, declared an Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. The charming Café Ziryab creates an intimate and familiar atmosphere, where you can enjoy good wine, a cool beer or a drink and a delicious tapa. On Sunday afternoons, refreshments include tea or coffee along with cake. Flamenco shows at 9:30 PM include a drink with the price of admission. There is a different admission rate for the late shows (11:00 PM) on Friday and Saturday. The tour operators speak English, French, and German.

The restaurant opened in 1996 with the aim of promoting young artists and the traditional lyric form of operatic art. As you dine, the wait staff will entertain you with typical Spanish zarzuela, interacting with the audience as they go. The night starts with an overture of “Il Barbieri di Siviglia,” served with the traditional tapa of a Spanish omelet. The 1st act, “Die Zauberflöte,” is accompanied by marinated salmon rolls filled with baby broad beans in garlic sauce.
