Explore one of the most picturesque regions of northern Italy on a full-day sightseeing tour to the celebrities’ favorite destination of Lake Como. Visit the beautiful cities of Como and Bellagio, take a cruise on the lake, and admire the scenic views of the region. During the bus ride out from Milan, informative commentary will be given on the historical landmarks and the spectacular landscape along the way. Upon arrival in Como, take a walking tour of the scenic town center, where nature, art and local traditions collide. Learn about the many great poets and writers who have been enchanted and inspired by the beauty of Como’s villas, gardens and fairytale atmosphere. Next, climb aboard a boat for a cruise up the lake to Bellagio, known as the “Pearl of the Lake” by those in the know. Lunch is available to purchase onboard. After, head to the Sanctuary of Madonna del Ghisallo, the patron saint of cyclists.  This is one of the most famous places for cycling enthusiasts and a destination for thousands of sportsmen from all over the world. Inside the church, you will be able to admire keepsakes, iconic jerseys, and bicycles of the most loved cyclists in the world including Coppi, Bartali, Merckx, Motta, and Pantani. From November 2nd, 2023 to March 31st, 2024, the Ghisallo visit will not take place; the group will ferry from Bellagio to Cadenabbia and then return to Milan.

Departure by bus from Milan as your tour leader welcomes you onboard. After about 1 hour, you will reach Como, with its beautiful medieval alleys, large squares, wonderful Gothic Cathedral, and bars that invite tourists to have a gourmet break. Admire the beautiful landscapes around Lake Como, characterized by the marvelous villas and the lush greenery that is reflected in the waters of the lake. Get a different perspective by sailing on the lake by boat, until you reach Bellagio. Upon arrival, explore this picturesque village with your guide. Before returning to Milan, walk along the road that runs along the shores of the lake, taking in stunning views of the lake.

We'll meet at 8:30 am at Piazza Quattro Novembre, and from this point in Milan we'll travel north by bus. After a 1-hour ride we'll arrive at our first destination, where we'll enjoy a guided tour of Como. On this tour, we'll see the most important monuments of the historic centre of this town such as the the Basilica of San Fedele and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. From Como we will take a panoramic cruise to reach Bellagio, also known as the “Pearl of Lake Como”. On board a ferry boat and get the opportunity to see the incredible Lake Como from a different perspective.During the cruise, we will spend two hours on board being able to admire the splendid lake landscapes, the historic villas such as Villa Carlotta, Balbianello, Erba and those famous people like George Clooney or Versace, corners of unspoiled nature. Is possible to buy lunch on board of ferry Enjoy some free time to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this idyllic and relaxing place, discover the gardens, the streets and stairways, the lakefront and enjoy a glass of wine in one of the many cellars of the village, we will end the day , before returning to Milan,we'll continue the trip by bus to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Ghisallo, a virgin highly revered by cycling enthusiasts. In fact, next to the temple is located the Museum of Cycling. Here you'll be able to see the jerseys and personal belongings of great legends of the sport such as Coppi, Bartali, Merckx, Motta and Pantani.After visiting the museum, we'll return to the meeting point in Milan, where we'll arrive between 10 and 11 hours after pickup.

The ascent to Monte Nuvolone takes us without too much effort to one of the most scenic spots in the centre of the lake.
