A short train ride from Paris, Brussels is a nice way to escape the city for a day and visit a new country. Easily a comfortable day trip. The Magritte Museum was one of our stops in this lovely city. The museum was very nice and well organized with a variety of things to see. There are also a number of cute shops in the center of town..chocolates, pastries, waffles, pubs with local Belgium crafted beer, etc. We visited the Chocolate Museum as a last minute activity--interesting and a demo/sample at the end. A few beautiful parks and churches to tour. Highly recommended the museum and city.

The Magritte Museum is somewhere my daughter was so excited to go, as he is her favorite artist. The museum is laid out well, there is plenty of space around the exhibits to enjoy them, and it was not super busy. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of his work, but she is and said she was surprised they had as much as they did.

The Magritte museum is well organized. It provides a good understanding of René Magritte's artistic philosophy through the evolution of his style as a painter who marked his time in the 20th century. It also makes it possible to penetrate the thought of the painter through in particular his expressions reproduced on the wall.
