From Barcelona: Costa Brava Day Tour with Lunch

2. From Barcelona: Costa Brava Day Tour with Lunch

Escape the hustle and bustle of Barcelona on a full-day tour of Costa Brava. Travel north up the coastal highway to Blanes, the gateway to one of Europe’s most beautiful coastlines. Savor a local lunch and visit the charming town of Tossa de Mar.  Depart Barcelona in the morning aboard an air-conditioned bus. Relax and take in the scenery on the drive to one of the few remaining coves that is still free from the crowds and big commercial developments. Enjoy free time to lounge on the beach or go for a swim in crystal-clear waters. Have the option to stay on the beach for the next two hours, or visit the famous botanical gardens. Sit down to a delicious Spanish lunch in a family-owned restaurant. Feast on a mouth-watering selection of traditional dishes and a glass of Sangria, followed by your choice of main courses. Continue along the coast to Tossa de Mar, the last fortified town on Costa Brava. Walk along cobblestone streets to the lighthouse for a stunning view of the coastline. Wander back down through the old town and discover a maze of narrow streets lined with traditional whitewashed houses. Soak up the atmosphere with free time to purchase souvenirs, take a dip at the beach which lies beneath this historic town, or rent a kayak for a quick paddle under the cliffs. After a couple of hours exploring Tossa de Mar return to Barcelona by bus.

This tour was fantastic! Carlos, our tour guide, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, which enhanced our experience. We traveled to Costa Brava in comfort and enjoyed lovely scenery along the way. We went to two coastal towns and ate some delicious paella! Wonderful experience!

It was a great experience. Amazing scenery and tropical gardens!!! It was humid when I went but overall it was worth the sweat, walking and money just to get to know more about what Barcelona has to offer!

Our guide was great! We were able to do all the points of interest. The botanical garden is sublime. The beach makes for a very pleasant break. Lunch has something for everyone. Very nice day.

Hello my daughter and I went on the Costa Brava Day Tour together. In everything that was super planned, we had time for ourselves to shop or look at the region, for swimming..
