It was a bit confusing at the beginning with the pickup, my riad has no access for cars and we had to somehow find another location nearby. After that everything went very well. The driver Mohammed was very nice, spoke some English and very good French, the stop at the Argan Oil Cooperative was informative and the "pressure to sell" was minimal. In Imlil our group was divided into different activities, I walked with Abdulrahim (Abdul) to his home in one of the small villages next to Imlil. His English was not very good but good enough and I made a simple but good chicken tajine in his kitchen. There was plenty of time to talk and learn a lot about life in such a small mountain village. The chicken was raised there, the vegetables were harvested in the garden - the result was accordingly delicious. Afterwards we walked a little bit through the village and then we went back to Marrakech with the others.

Was picked up from my hotel. Had a nice drive where we stopped a few times, walked around, got to take pictures and learn about what we were seeing. The drivers English was ok, I didn’t understand some things which he seemed to get irritated by. When dropped to my destination, I was greeted by a lovely man who took care of me.

What a wonderful day! Me and my boyfriend decided to do this adventure to learn more about the Berber cuisine. But to be honest it was more than that, this tour exceeded our expectations. First of all I must say that all the guides were very professional, Mustapha was our guide throughout the all day and he is a very prepared and lovely guy. Idris was our “Berber Host” , we had the best time with him and his family, he thought us how to prepare chicken tajine, Moroccan salad and also the Berber Mint tea. He also told us about the Berber culture. The most beautiful thing was that he made us feel at home, and we really thank him for that. The tour started with a visit at a cooperative in which ladies are making argan oil and cosmetics, then we went to Imlil and to end this beautiful day we also had a camel ride which we didn’t expect! I couldn’t recommend this excursion enough! Thank you Mustapha , thank you Idris we will definitely see you again !
