Discover the unique scenery of the Ourika Valley on a guided trip from Marrakech. Shop at an authentic Berber market, visit the village of Setti Fadma, visit Ourika's waterfalls, hike through the Atlas Mountains, and ride a camel through the Agafay Desert.

Following pickup, stop at a Berber market to see where the local families of the valley buy their daily goods. Then, visit an authentic Berber family and take the chance to see and explore their house for yourself. Get to know the local lifestyle and learn how to prepare their refreshing mint tea. After enjoying a cup of tea or two, continue the trip to Setti Fadma, a Moroccan village that is world-renowned for its seven sparkling waterfalls.

Wander around the charming Berber villages, then continue through Berber country to the two waterfalls of Ourika. By the river, find local restaurants, where you can enjoy delicious dishes (not included).

Experience crossing the river using ropes and small wooden bridges before continuing the journey to the Agafay Desert. Once there, embark on a 1-hour camel ride at sunset to admire the unique beauty of this vast, untouched desert. Later, return to Marrakech for drop-off.

Amazing day, cannot fault it! We were picked up in a lovely, clean MPV and greeted with a smile and bottles of water. I wasn't aware that this would be a private trip, I had expected a group tour- this may have been a misunderstanding on my part or maybe we just got lucky however it was a pleasant surprise! We were driven to the mountains, stopping at an Argan Oil Women's Co-operative before driving to the Berber village where we met another guide. He took us further up the mountain on foot, through the markets and to the top of the waterfall where we stopped for mint tea before returning to the valley for lunch by the river. After lunch, we drove back down the mountain and stopped at a Berber family home for a quick visit. We then continued to the camel riding which took place in a dry, open space off a main road. The man who took us on our camel ride made sure we actually rode at sunset for the full experience and went above and beyond to ensure that our photos came out spectacular.

Really enjoyable day out. Everything ran completely smooth and was well organised. All of our guides were friendly and informative. Said our hiking guide was lovely and filled us in on information regarding the area. He was super knowledgeable and extremely helpful always offering a hand to walk up slightly difficult parts of the mountain. We watched Argan oil get made and had the opportunity to buy products without any obligation. After hiking up to the waterfall we had a 3 course lunch at a set price of 120dh (I’m assuming you don’t have to eat if you don’t want to) and then we were driven to a camel ranch for a sunset camel ride. Although it was fun I have to admit that was the only part of the day I was unsure about. I felt sorry for the camels having to traipse tourists around and probably wouldn’t do that part again. All in all though it was an enjoyable day away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.

Isheem was our driver he drove safely through Marrakesh pointing out landmarks and telling us history of marrakesh and villages, at the mountains our tour guide was sieed, i was with my elderly father and elderly friend, Sieed helped all three of us get to the top to see a beautiful waterfall, this was not for the faint hearted, was a steep climb up mainly rocks, Wear good walking shoes!!! finished our day off with a fun sunset camel ride. Our guides were very helpful and caring, could not praise them enough. ( appoligise if spelling of names are incorrect!) Highly recommend asking for these guys.
