We absolutely loved our day on the 5 hour cruise. The crew, food, and even the other passengers made it an unforgettable experience. We liked that it was a smaller group (around14 passengers), but unfortunately they took us out on a smaller vessel that did not have the needed permits for the Calanques National Park. We still got our 5 hours on the boat and anchored in a beautiful area, but we hated to miss the real thing on our short trip to Marseille. My partner was really disappointed by this as we’d been long looking forward to it.

It was cool and relaxing. A good trip I’d recommend. I liked that we were given a snack for breakfast as we boarded (pancakes, crepes, croissants, coffee and soft drinks). The tour was in French but the 2 guides made an effort to speak English to us, which we appreciated. Lots of space on the sundeck as we were only 7 tourists on board. The lunch was just okay, nothing too mind blowing (salmon and ham for starters, couscous and rice for main with some salad and sea food skewer- which couldve been cooked a bit more imo). The cake for desert was good. Really pretty sightseeing. The people on our tour swam, we chose not to as the water is still cold. Not sure if Calanques is the whole entire area around Marseille, but we were taken North (i saw the Calanque national park is in the south?). Cool experience overall

This was a fantastic tour and overall luxurious experience. There were maybe 40-ish guests on board during our tour so there was tons of space for everyone to sprawl out comfortably. The crew were so fun and helpful. I speak little-to-no French, and had no language barrier issues - they all kindly spoke English to me. The initial pastries/treats, as well as the lunch later on were gorgeous, perfect amount of food to keep us fuelled up during the 5 hour tour. The majority of our group even took a leap into the chilly water once we arrived at the Calanaques! I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Marseille - thank you to the captain and his crew - this was everyone’s highlight of the trip hah!
