Full description

Discover the postcard-worthy Côte Bleue calanque as you ride a kayak past beautiful bays, striking cliffs, and quaint little homes. Follow your guide from Estaque in Marseille, all the way to Carry-le-Rouet, for a comprehensive overview of this gorgeous natural area.

After a short briefing, route presentation, and weather report, head out with all the necessary knowledge to have a fun and safe ride. Explore the creeks of Establon and Aragnols with a beautiful beach. Depending on the group's pace, you might even be able to reach the magnificent Figuerolles creek.

Learn about each little hidden corner from your certified guide and admire the mindblowing rocky sceneries as you float along. Additionally, you can do your part to take care of the local sea life by picking up floating waste and loading it into the bag your kayak comes equipped with.

Beginners are advised to choose the morning tour, as the sea is generally calmer than in the afternoon.

We had such a fabulous morning with Richard. He was very patient with us, given one of us had never kayaked before. He brought us to a beautiful cove where we were able to relax and swim. Water shoes were available to rent when we got there to save our runners, bags were able to be kept. We arrived early on the bus, we got out a few stops earlier - and got breakfast and water. We walked then for about 15 mins to SUP Kayak. Thankfully we did as there were no shops beside the meeting point. We walked to the beach after, again, google maps told us an 8 minute walk but it was def 15mins. There are no shops/restaurants on that walk so be warned! However, once you know all that information, I would absolutely recommend the day trip. I felt that it was an excellent day on the ocean with beautiful views, water and fun.

The tour guy was excellent he gave clearance structions. We were late returning so we missed our next tour. But that was not his fault. The wind was moving everyone else to sea and he had to tow us back in. He was very brave to do this. And I am grateful. Also because we were late to the next tour they were kind enough to call and make the explanation for us. He took pictures of us at the site which was very nice so that we would have a memory.

The day couldn't have been nicer. Although sea kayaking is choppier than a calm lake, I didn't have any trouble rowing the 3km there and back. The pebbled beach stop was gorgeous and the water was a perfect temperature for dipping. I would have loved to have gotten advice on how best to get there as opposed to splurging on an uber there and back (it is 20-30 min from downtown Marseille).
