It's an entry ticket - there didn't happen to be a line when we got there, but it was still convenient to have in advance. Museum was so-so. There didn't seem to be much of a timeline and they talked about all of Europe and not just Marseille and France. But overall, it was okay. If you like typical museums, you'll likely enjoy this one as well.

Easy way to book online activity. We went there with my kids (7 and 5) and they loved so much to do the tour with the special "Ile aux trésors" provided by the Museum. We learnt a lot of things about Mediterraneens Civilization, I highly recommend you the tour :)
