Our guide, Axel Schattschneider, has really well-founded and comprehensive knowledge of the history, culture, architecture and social development of the city of Lübeck over the course of history. He imparts this knowledge in an understandable, vivid and entertaining way. He was a pleasure to listen to and there was never a dull moment throughout the tour. We learned a lot on this tour and got impressions of Lübeck that we would never have experienced otherwise. Axel was just great.

Our guide Matt, was very knowledgeable, interesting, brought to our attention facts which are very important. His background in Journalism helped to present stories in facinating way. It was the best tour I ever attended.

Carolin proved a great guide! Her commentary was a good blend of interesting and relevant stories and broad historical sweep. We came away with a greater appreciation of Lubeck and its role in world history and commerce.

The tour was well organized and more than met our expectations. We were fortunate to have Jim as our tour guide. He brought the city to life with his extensive knowledge and expertise. We were fortunate to have him.
