What people are saying about Meissen

We spontaneously decided to take a guided tour and booked a tour online. That worked perfectly. We still had half an hour to look at the exhibition before the tour started, which was interesting and worth seeing. The last time I visited the manufactory was in 1995, when it was still in a different position. Everything has become much more modern and bigger after all these years. You can also see that during the tour, digitization has also found its way here. But it was very interesting, you get a good insight into the history and creation of Meissner porcelain as well as the production steps. Highly recommended.

Guided tour of the demonstration workshop is a MUST! All steps of making and painting are shown. The museum shows unbelievable beauties of porcelain art. In the shop you can see other highlights and of course buy them. There is also something for the small purse, also second choice. We were there for a total of four hours and then ate cake in the Meissner Porzellan cafe. Not to forget the city, which is definitely worth seeing.

I haven't been to the porcelain manufactory for many years now. Wanted to see the current products. Personally, I didn't like the new products, colors and models that much. But this is a matter of opinion.

The visit to the sample workshop with the individual stations of the production and painting of Meissen porcelain was particularly interesting.

Es war wunderbar, die Führung da durch war mega die Dame hat alles super erklärt. Und die Ausstellungsstücke einzigartig und bewundernswert.
