St Paul's Bay: Blue Lagoon, Beaches & Bays Trip by Catamaran

1. St Paul's Bay: Blue Lagoon, Beaches & Bays Trip by Catamaran

After boarding the catamaran, the first stop will be the Blue Lagoon. The boat will drop anchor away from the crowds, so you can experience the famous turquoise water in peace. During this stop, you can enjoy an optional barbecue. The stops after the Blue Lagoon will depend on the weather. It might be possible to head to the Crystal Lagoon, surrounded by steep dramatic cliffs. Its crystal clear waters are much deeper than the Blue Lagoon, making the area fantastic for snorkeling and swimming in and around the caves. If there is an easterly wind, it’s likely that you’ll visit Ghajn Tuffieha. This is a beautiful rural area, home to a chain of pristine sandy beaches called Golden Bay, Riviera Beach, and Gnejna Bay. On the way back from Ghajn Tuffieha, an additional stop will be made to discover the film set of Popeye’s Village, tucked away in a charming bay. Other stops that might be made are Mellieha Bay, Ramla Bay, Imgiebah Bay, or Half Rock. All of these locations are great for snorkeling and swimming. Back on the boat, listen to dance music, and buy cocktails at the bar. If you have selected the afternoon option, relax and watch the sunset on the horizon. After a wonderful day at sea, begin the journey back to Bugibba.

What people are saying about Mellieha

Really great, Hornblower is probably the best deal on this place. In any case, everything went well; compared to the other boats, we had a larger lagoon area for us and the best slide. Bring a mask and snorkel or at worst buy it in the boat (20 €) to watch the fish, which are not extraordinary but pretty and varied by 3m deep, it allows you to spend the 4.5 hours pleasantly once you have made 10 dives and 10 slides. The only downside to which Hornblower can do nothing: on the island, a smart guy sells pineapples with liqueur in the fruit. We found empty pineapples all over the rocks with the straws, it was ugly. If I was mayor of the island, I'd fire that salesman or have him pick up his customers' trash.

The catamaran is beautiful and spacious To get the best seats you have to come a little early The food is excellent and for those who are concerned the meat is halal The music is neither too loud nor headache Everything is well done and the choice of the playlist is very trendy very dip chic The staff is super friendly and the excursion is worth it when the boat stops go visit quickly it's worth it
