Walk down by the picturesque houses of the Old Town, to reach the Barbican, fragment of the restored city wall, then have a look at the birthplace of Marie Curie, a great Polish scientist. Walking back to the bus, you'll pass by the Warsaw Uprising Monument, an impressive memorial. Here you'll learn more about this WWII event from your guide. Next, the bus takes you to the Royal Park Łazienki. In the upper fragment of the park you'll see the monument of Frederic Chopin, one of the best known Poles, a romantic period composer. Then, the guide will present you the incredible Palace on the Isle, summer residence of the king of Poland, Stanisław August Poniatowski. On the walk through the park, you'll hear stories about turbulent late 18th-century Poland while admiring examples of architecture of that period. After this relaxing stroll in the "green lungs" of Warsaw, the bus will take you back to your hotel or a requested location within the city.
