What people are saying about Merzouga
To sum up, the tour offers a great experience for a very good price.
We had an outstanding experience in the Sahara desert. The tour is very well organized. We started in time, all camels were prepared to take us to our little Sahara adventure. After the approx. 1 hour camel ride which was very convenient, we arrived at the camp. The tour allows for plenty time of individually enjoying the desert before the sun sets. You can spend it strolling around the dunes or having a try with the sandboard - which is very basically equipped and offered when requested. After the truly amazing sunset in the Sahara, tea and biscuits were provided while our guides prepared the dinner. It included three courses: soup, tagine and fruits - which were delicious and far more than enough. Afterwards, a circle of chairs was arranged around the campfire to warm up while listening to drum music. At night, we felt very comfortable inside our tents with enough space, cosy beds and plenty of blankets preventing from feeling cold. Breakfast in the hotel was very nice.
Amazing experience, we rode the camels through the desert, we enjoyed the sunset and the sand boarding. They 2 boys guiding us (Mohammed and Mostafa) were really kind and well prepared. When arriving at the tends we had a lovely dinner with really good staff serving us. The best part was after dinner where we sat around a fire and we told stories and jokes with the all the guys working at the tends, they've been playing music too. We are really grateful for the experience they gave us. We're sorry if we don't remember all their names but we will definitely remember them as good and friendly people.
Amazing experience!! We ride camels for about 1 h:30 min where we could only see the sand and the big dunes of the desert, we stop to take some pictures. We enjoy seeing the sunset and we stayed in an amazing camp. Our guides were very friendly and funny guys! The dinner was expeptional and plenty and after that we sang and danced in the fire under the stars! The other day we saw the sunrise and we returned to the hotel, where we took our breakfast, which was delicious and plenty!
Camel ride was amazing. Berber friends are awesome and very friendly. We really enjoyed their quality meal, drums/fire and watching the stars and sharing stories in the desert. It was really magical, I hope one day I will return and spend more days with berber in the desert and dive into mystic of the desert.
This was an amazing experience, highly recommend!
The guides were so kind, took lots of pictures of us. The food was awesome and the tent was super comfy and we stayed warm throughout the night. There is nothing that compares to seeing the desert first hand, especially the stars at night. Highly recommend this experience!
