Covid-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Take in the 3 most culturally and historically important sites in the Mexico City area on a full-day tour that includes visits to Teotihuacan, the basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Tlatelolco. Your tour begins with a visit to the archeological site of Teotihuacan, where you’ll marvel at some of the most impressive pyramids in the world. See the Sun and Moon pyramids, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Avenue of the Dead, and more. Next you’ll head to Mexico’s most important Catholic pilgrimage site, the basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This shrine was built to commemorate the reported appearance of the Virgin Mary to Juan Diego, an Aztec peasant. The third and final stop of the tour is Tlatelolco, where it is said that the past, present, and future of Mexico meet. The Plaza de las Tres Culturas is named after the 3 periods of Mexican history that are represented by structures from the pre-Columbian, Spanish colonial, and the independent mestizo nation.

Our guides were Isabel and Abel, they really have a good back and forth, good natured joking with each other. Abel was the driver and I have to hand it to him and his skill. Isabel was very knowledgeable and professional. She had very good insights for every place we went. I liked that we were given plenty of opportunities to go to the restroom. I'd have liked to have given more time at the Shrine of Guadalupe.

Our guide, Alan, was amazing! He explained everything in English and Spanish (which gave me a bit of a Spanish lesson as I'm trying to learn), both informative and clear. I really liked his humor, it kept everything chill and interesting, it was like an informative stand up I totally recomand!

Honestly, I’m not quite sure where to start, but let me tell you .. this is by far the best day tour I took. Our tour guide Alan was very educated, spoke English and Spanish, made sure we are okay and comfortable and if we had any questions, he’d answer them. Oh and not to mention he is a very funny man. Hugo the driver was also very helpful and knowledgeable about the direction on how to get there, made sure we are comfortable in the van. I would highly recommend taking a tour with Get Your Guide!
