Marco and Santiago were excellent guides. They were patient and friendly throughout the experience with our group of 10 people. They were both experts in mountain guiding and made sure that everyone in the group was safe. The hike was certainly challenging and we are regular hikers and in very good physical shape. This hike is not for everyone and you must pay attention to the physical requirements and the suggestions for dress. Good hiking shoes/boots, layered clothing and gloves are essential. You should be ready for a very long day as the tour left around 7:15 AM, a 2.5 hour drive to and from the volcano and a planned dinner following the hike. Plan to return to CDMX around 9 PM. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would recommend it to anyone as long as they pay attention to the requirements.

Carlos was very friendly, energized and explained everything. We set off from the city, it takes 2 hours to get there. The track was easy, we did 14 km in total. There was no big hike, mostly on narrow path (good for people who are not used to high altitude). Views were amazing though. We chose the track with a nice small waterfall. As the track was easy, you can wear sneakers, you wont need any special shoes, but bring a jacket!

Marco our guide was super professionell, helpful and organized all the time! I felt safe during the whole hike! This hike was incredible and hard to describe! I highly can recommend it! But only for people, who are in very good physical health!! It’s really not easy to adapt to the less amount of ogygen. We got lunch and dinner (Tacos & Quesedilas) The whole trip was great! I would definitely do it again!

This experience was unbelievable!! Everyone was absolutely great and super supportive throughout the climb. The staff is wonderful. This is the highest I have gone up altitude wise, so it was definitely difficult, but its very doable! Definitely recommend this trip.

Fantastic experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. Beautiful views of the park and El Popo. You're given plenty of snacks and drinks, and afterwards get a great meal
