With options to challenge yourself by mounting the 250 stairs up to the rooftop, or to take a ride on the convenient elevator, the rooftop is accessible to all with a desire to see this iconic sight. Once you’re on the rooftop, peer out over the city from over 150 feet above street level while taking in the characteristic rows of white marble spires. An enduring symbol of Milan, the cathedral broke ground in 1386, only to be finished in 1965. Built of stunning marble quarried from the Candoglia region, there are few better examples of Italian Gothic architecture in existence.

    This was a great experience. The detail of the church and views of the city were amazing. I went with my two grown children in their 20's, who also enjoyed the experiencing the Duomo rooftop. I would recommend this activity and company for tours and booking tickets. I will definitely use them again.

    This is not a fast track enterence ticket, there are two elevators, this is for the other one. Time indicated in the ticket is provisional, you can't enter when indicated, but should wait in line. People who bought walking tickets entered sooner than us, so I recommend you to either buy fast track or walk on foot.

    If you don't like stairs or heights, don't book this! Great view from the top, but it is a lot of stairs. There is a different ticket for the same thing with a lift. Some of the roof is being refurbished, so you can't access everything or see in all directions at the moment, but still worthwhile.
