Experience the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of traveling through the majestic Norwegian fjords on a scenic boat tour departing from Bergen. Admire the verdant or ice-covered cliffs depending on the time of year and take in the mirror-like reflections from the water. Sali out from the city center of Bergen for a great view of the iconic Bryggen from the water. Float along the 27-kilometer-long Osterfjord surrounded by steep mountains and watch it narrow down into the shallow Mostraumen strait, with powerful currents. From Bergen: Modalen Private Fjord-cruise with Waterfalls

3. From Bergen: Modalen Private Fjord-cruise with Waterfalls

This private boat trip will take you from Bergen through Norway's iconic fjords in Modalen. Experience amazing scenery, including mountains, traditional small villages, and waterfalls. You'll explore the small village of Mo before cruising back to Bergen through Fulufjallet National Park. From your hotel, it is just a few steps to the harbour to meet your friendly captain and guide for the day. As you cruise out of the harbor, you'll gain lovely views of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Bryggen harbor buildings. The captain will make sure you have enough coffee, tea, wine, beer or what you prefer during the whole day. And you can put on your favorite relax-music on the stereo, while enjoying the amazing norwegian nature along the fjord. How often can you enjoy a private luxurious boat like this, with your own captain? Enter the fjords and immerse yourself in a fairytale-like world of natural beauty. Look out to the stretching mountains on the horizon and listen to the softly rippling waters beneath the boat as you pass the towns Sandviken and Eidsvåg. We cruise at slow speed, so you can enjoy the nature and silence all the way up to Modal village. When you arrive at the narrow fjords and remote towns of Modalen, you'll be steered right up to a waterfall to taste the mountain water. Or you can have a shower under the waterfall, on the boats fore-deck. Or go for a quick swim in the fjord under the waterfall. The water is cold and fresh, and we have got a hot shower and towel for you. Your next stop will be the charming village of Mo, where you can take a break if you want, and explore the town of 100 residents at your own, and grab something to eat. We warn you that you will not meet many people here, only some locals- as tis is a very remote ans quite village, with only one grocery-store, and a cafeteria. The last part of the cruise will take you to the breathtaking 90-meter waterfall of the cliff Fulufjallet National Park. Enjoy some more snacks and wine on board as you cruise back along the fjords to Bergen. If you want to try steering the boat, the captain will step aside while you take over the steering. We are looking forward to see you, and we will make this the best day of your vacation.

From Bergen: Private Mostraumen Fjord and Waterfall Cruise

4. From Bergen: Private Mostraumen Fjord and Waterfall Cruise

Experience narrow fjords, steep mountainsides, and mighty waterfalls with a local guide on a private cruise to Osterfjord on a day trip from Bergen. Get onboard a Premium Explorer 50 Yacht and witness the picturesque Mostraumen where boats are just able to pass through. Set sail from Bergen's Fish Market, as your guide points to some of the oldest and most relevant historical sites in the city, including the medieval fortress Bergenhus, St. Mary's church, and the UNESCO-listed Bryggen Hanseatic wharf. From there, sail through the western Norwegian scenery in the Fjord City, Salhusfjorden, and Osterfjord towards the stunning Mostraumen Channel. Sip on soft drinks, and soak in the views as the captain safely steers the boat through steep mountainsides, a maze of islands, and cascading waterfalls. Venture deeper into the fjord and see the mountain landscape become steeper and narrower. Get up close to waterfalls and feel the cold spray on your face. With a little luck, you can spot seals sunbathing on the rocky shore so keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife around you. Deep in the Osterfjord, take a break and tuck into Lapskaus, a traditional Norwegian meat and vegetable stew.

A very professional operation with Rodne on a very comfortable vessel. The whole team were delightful and the Captain made a special effort to come round and talk to the passengers on the way back to the harbour. An unforgettable experience

On time, beautiful views, most other travelers respectful to move along and let others capture views. Clean facilities. Cold as expected for October. Just right time length.
