2. Marrakech: All-inclusive 4 Day Private Desert Tour

An example of the itinerary you will follow: Day 1: Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Dades Valley Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation and you will set off on your 4 day adventure. Pass through the Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas mountains and from Marrakech to Ouarzazate you can enjoy the scenic route, the landscapes with changing colors and terrain and the Berber villages along the way. You will have free time to visit the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate and have lunch on site. Then, on to the green valley of Dadès and the valley of roses by the palm grove of Skoura. You will have dinner and stay overnight at a charming guest house in the valley. Day 2: Dades Valley, Todra Gorges, Dunes of Merzouga After breakfast, you will set off on the road to the 1000 Kasbahs, then check check out Tinghr with its magnificent palm groves. At Todra Gorge, the bravest explorers can trek along the canyon, 300 metres above the ground. Then continue towards Merzouga and the erg Chebbi dune in the Sahara desert. In the largest desert in the world, you can experience the sunset on the back of a camel as you ride towards the oasis where the camp is located. You may spend the night in the nomadic tents or under the stars and play music or sing along with the locals and become immersed in true nomadic culture. Day 3: Merzouga, Tazarine, Agdz, Ouarzazate Watch the sunrise over the dunes of erg Chebbi, followed by breakfast in the camp. Return to a hostel via camel trek for a quick shower then drive to Rissani, a small town in southern Saharan Morocco where you can stop to visit a fossil workshop, before continuing to the junction of the Drâa and Agdz valley. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and hotel stay in Ouarzazate. Day 4: Ouarzazate, Aït ben Haddou, Telouet, Marrakech Go on a tour of the movie sets and studios located in Ouarzazate: the "Hollywood of Africa". Visit the Ksar of Aït ben Haddou, a world heritage site. Aït ben Haddou has been used to date as a backdrop for more than twenty films, including "Gladiator", "Indiana Jones "and" Lawrence of Arabia ". Take advantage of this walk through the area to admire the traditional architecture of the kasbahs. Continue on home to Marrakech through the mountains.

Embark on a full-day tour to the Ouzoud Waterfalls with a small group of maximum 20 people, or as a private group. Begin with pickup from your hotel or riad, before departing for one of the most spectacular waterfalls in North Africa, located 93 miles (150 km) north of Marrakech. Upon arrival in the village of Ouzoud, admire views of the cascades that plunge 360 feet (110 meters) into the pool below. Meet a local guide who will take you on a walk through olive tree groves, share information about the local Berber culture and take you to visit a local argan oil co-operative.  Then, walk down a network of trails that lead down to the bottom with your guide. Enjoy a stop at a scenic viewpoint where you can buy a fresh orange juice, before boarding a traditional boat for a short ride on the pool at the bottom of the waterfalls. Lunch will be at a local restaurant overlooking the falls and consists of a traditional Berber menu. After lunch, you’ll have 20 minutes of free time to take pictures, admire the views, or explore the souvenir stalls. In the mid-afternoon, you’ll walk up a series of stairs to board the minibus and then be transferred back to Marrakech.

The tour will start with you being picked up at 8.00 AM from your accommodation in Fez. After boarding your private vehicle, you will make your way towards Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains near Tangier. Upon arrival, you can marvel at the incredible blue walls that make this town famous. You will have about 4-hours to explore the picturesque small city streets of the medina. As this is a private tour, you have the luxury to decide how you would like to spend your time and there are many activities to choose from. You can discover the local shops and cafes and see the main square known as Plaza Uta el-Hammam. To experience some culture you may wish to head to the Kasbah Museum, the Grand Mosque or the Ethnographic Museum which contains musical instruments, antique weapons, and photographs of the old town. Discover Fes and Marrakech, Morocco's imperial cities on a 3-day tour. Day 1: Marrakech — Ait Ben Haddou — Tinghir (1st night at Bougafer hotel) Your tour will start with an early pick-up. Meet your driver in the morning at your hotel or riad and start your journey crossing the High Atlas Mountains towards Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. After a guided walk in the village, continue to Ouarzazate for a leisurely lunch. In the early afternoon, travel northeast to Boumalne Dades. After a drive along the Dades River with the marvelous sunset as your backdrop, reach the gorges of Dades. Make a pit stop to enjoy the amazing scenery. Start your day trip with pickup from your Marrakech accommodation from 7-8 AM. Hop inside your air-conditioned car and soak up the scenery as you travel into the Atlas Mountains. Your first stop will be at a small village called Ait Ben Barka near the amazing natural areas surrounding Toufliht. The second stop on your tour will be the Tizi n'Tichka pass, 7,415 feet above sea level (2,260 meters).  Your third stop will be at Atlas Film Studios at Ouarzazate. This is the largest film studio in the world, famously featured in the TV series Game of Thrones. You will have the opportunity to visit the studios to explore on your own. You'll be able to learn more bout the actors and films that have been filmed here, and take some pictures of the unique Moroccan scenery in the area. After the studio, you will go for lunch at one of the best restaurants in the area, with excellent prices and stunning panoramic views. The next and last visit after lunch will be at the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, recognized as a UNESCO site and one of the most extraordinary kasbahs in Morocco. This two-day tour will bring you from Marrakech through the Draa valley, across to Ouarzazate and back. On the first day of the tour, you'll depart early in the morning and immediately witness some of the beauty that Morocco has to offer. You'll be stunned by the valleys and hills as you travel 7400 feet up in your air-conditioned vehicle. You'll quickly arrive at the ksar (fortified city) of Ait Ben Haddou, located along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. You may get the feeling that you've been here before; Ait Ben Haddou has served as the backdrop for films such as “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Time Bandits”, “Kundun”, “The Mummy”, and many more. While many families here now live in modern homes, you’ll get the chance to see why this has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1989. You'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant. The day continues with a drive to Ouarzazate, home to film studios and famous scenery. You'll pass through the inspiring Anti Atlas Mountains (Tizi N Tnifift), as well as Agdz and the Draa valley, famous for its palm plantations. There are over 11 million palm trees in this area – truly a sight to behold. The first day comes to a glorious end upon arrival in Zagora, where you'll take a 1.5-hour camel ride to watch the sunset over the desert. You'll sleep like a local in a Berber tent. On Day 2, you'll wake up with the sunrise and enjoy a view of the the dunes as you ride your camel back to Zagora. The adventure continues as you travel back to Ouarzazate by car, stopping for lunch in Taouirt Kabah. By now you'll understand why Ouarzazate means 'door to the desert'. After lunch, you'll travel back to Marrakech, where the tour concludes.
