Visit three of Malta's most distinct attractions on this half-day tour in the heart of the island. Explore the town of Mosta and stop in at the Church of St. Mary, which features one of the largest domes in the world. On April 9, 1942 a German bomb pierced the dome and fell among a congregation of more than 300 people, but did not explode. The event has become legendary, with many regarding it as a miracle. A replica of the bomb can be seen in the church's sacristy. Then visit the nearby village of Ta'Qali, where a former British military outpost has been converted into handicraft workshops. Here you can watch local artisans at work blowing elaborate glass art pieces, intricately assembling silver filigree jewelery, and carving local limestone. Finish with a visit to Mdina, Malta's ancient capital and one of the world's best medieval fortifications. Admire panoramic views of the entire Maltese landscape, and visit St. Paul's Cathedral ̶ built on the site where governor Publius was reported to have met St. Paul following his shipwreck off the Maltese coast.

Malta: Scenic Tour by Vintage Bus including Palazzo Falson

5. Malta: Scenic Tour by Vintage Bus including Palazzo Falson

Enjoy a scenic half-day tour of Malta and get fantastic views from the island’s highest point. Admire a building that's believed to have been built around 1495, probably incorporating parts of a 13th-century building, and further enlarged in the mid-16th century Next, drive to Dingli Cliffs, the highest point in Malta. The isolated Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene on the towering rocks makes for a charming landmark. Built in the 17th century, the chapel offers some of the most stunning views in Malta, including to the tiny uninhabited islet of Filfla. GREAT! From the beginning to the end. The driver picked us up from our hotel (there are several other stops) on time. Lots of traffic to get to our boat, the trip to GOZO is already a refreshing ride. And then to GOZO, second shuttle to the start of the quad ride. On site we filled out some papers (you need a driving license). WC on site. Here we go. A few swimming stops, a meal stop in a pretty square. The meal is okay. And then pause in a small shop to taste local products. There are many swimming breaks. No time to get tired of driving the quad. Mani our guide delighted us with his knowledge of the island and his humor. I recommend 300%. For the practical aspect, bring plenty of water and sunscreen, there is enough to hang the backpack on the quad. There were two of us on the quad, we were able to change drivers to enjoy the scenery.

We had a super guide and we could choose whether and how often we wanted to swim. There were also an appropriate number of breaks and lunch was well organised. In short, a great experience!

Nice tour. Nice tour guide & told a lot about the area. Glad you could do it in your own language.

We spent a wonderful day on the island with our guide Marc and discovered many enchanting corners.

Louis bugeja Is the best guide on the trip. Always ask for him
