Full-Day Turkish Bath Experience in Bodrum

7. Full-Day Turkish Bath Experience in Bodrum

The Turkish bath is a long revered custom, centuries old; perfect for those looking for a truly physical and spiritual cleansing experience. The first public bath house was built in 1741 by Sultan Mehmet who chose natural lighting and izonic coloured tiles to create a tranquil and harmonious experience. Prepare to leave the chaos and humdrum of life behind as soon as you enter the Turkish bath. Immerse yourself and embrace traditional custom by wearing the waistcloth and clogs provided. Not exactly for the faint hearted, inside the temperature can reach up to 50 degrees celcius under the central dome of the building. The combined intense heat and humidity encourages the pores to open and impurities to be extracted from the body. Following which, your skin will be gently exfoliated with a Turkish scrub and you will receive a soothing soap massage. Finally, after resting, you can enjoy Turkish tea before being taken back to your hotel feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and refreshed.

What people are saying about Muğla Province

Nice crew.

People really did their best to make you happy. Food and drink was abundant. Unfortunately, not everything that was stated in the confirmation was due to the low number of participants. The sails were not used and the trip to the hot water cave was not discussed. In general we have experienced the trip as pleasant.

We had a great experience. Started out with sauna, followed by body scrub in the hammam and then 45 minutes of massage including face mask. Some of the best massages I have received thanks to 2 skilled masseurs from Uganda. Highly recommended to have a luxury experience!

Great Value for Price

We had just the basic package, you can upgrade for £10 for 1 extra treatment or £20 for 3. Picked up on time and dropped back after Bargain

It was a lovely day out, lunch (included) was delicious and plenty of it. Highly recommend, exceptional value for the money.
