Full description
After being picked up from your hotel, the tour will begin from Shatti Al-Qurum (next to the Intercontinental Hotel). From here, your tour will take you through the mountainous and desert landscape. Your driver will show you how to use the audio guide system to benefit the GPS enabled commentary that follows the tour. You will pass the coastal township of Quriyat before reaching Wadi Shab after an approximately 1.5-hour drive, after which your guide will take you for a 45-minute walk to reach the natural pools and cave. You will be permitted some time to swim in the area's clear, sparkling waters, before returning to the base after walking for another 45 minutes. You will spend 3 hours in the Wadi, which will include lunch at the Wadi Shab Resort. Following lunch, you will continue traveling through the village of Finns. You will discover its famous white sand beaches, as you drive the coastal scenic route to reach the dramatic Bimah Sinkhole, a miracle of nature, where you will be able to swim in its half-salted water. You will then commence your journey back to Muscat with a smooth drive after an active nature day in Oman. Your tour will later end in Shatti Al Qurum, from where you will transfer back to your hotel.

Nice tour with audio guide. We unfortunately brought a lot of valuable documents with us on the hike and think it should be noted that you can't carry them with you to reach the cave destination. Maybe they could have mentioned this to leave our things in the car, or hopefully you read this and dont make our mistake. Otherwise, an enjoyable day out to some interesting landscapes.

The trip itself is really recommendable. It is worth it, because you can see everything on offer and sometimes even "climb" yourself. The way to the Whadi Shab is a bit of a challenge. We really advise everyone to do without flip-flops, sneakers were worth their weight in gold, enough water to take with them and adequate sun protection, and I would even advise against it with toddlers or older people who are no longer as good on foot. The food on offer was really very good. The sink cave was a bit boring, but you can say that you have now seen it and bathed in it. Now to the guides who were more of a taxi driver on our trip. A little more communication with the guests and more information about the further process and in general would have been nice. The autoguide, who spoke to us least, had some interesting information for us.

Very good trip. Wadi Shab is great place to visit. . . incredible nature. Interesting audio guide that was describing every important place that we saw during trip. Bimah Sinkhole is also beautiful place but not that much as Wadi Shab. We saw some more interesting places during the trip. What I did not like is that we were in a hurry all the time. We spent less than 3 hours in Wadi (arrived around 11:20 had to go at 14:00 because of the lunch) and it was not enough for me to really enjoy the place. Lunch I did not like but the place was nice with very beautiful seaview
