Had an absolute wonderful day even though it was 39 degrees centigrade! The area where Monet's 'water lily pond' is has garden seats to sit and rest in the shade. It is very tranquil and relaxing despite the crowds of people milling about. The garden has an abundance of flowers(July) and are well tended. Monet's House is very interesting to look through. It is also a must to visit the Church where Monet is buried. It would be a 15 to 20 minute walk from Monet's House. The church is of Romanesque origin. The oldest part, the semi circular apse was built at the beginning of the 11th century and the rest built around 15th century onwards. My tour included lunch at a lovely french restaurant behind Monets' house and afternoon tea at another cafe. The food was excellent. Thoroughly recommend this tour. A day well spent. If you only want to visit Monet's house, a half day tour would be adequate.

This was the most wonderful experience I've ever had.

I so enjoyed this experience. I will forever treasure my time in Monet's studio, his gardens, and the village there. Make sure to book the full day tour and experience it on your own, that way you can make your way around on your own time. The food at the restaurant was delicious, I had the vegetable soup, the fish, and the apple tart with hot tea and water to drink, all included in the all day tour. I also got a treat and more tea later in the day, the muffin was delicious. I came back with visions of new paintings to be created, a full belly, and many wonderful memories! A highlight of my trip to Paris.

This was a fabulous trip! You definitely need a full day to do everything and not feel rushed. Take your time in Monet’s gardens but don’t be late for lunch. The museum is smaller than you think it will be, so take some time to sit in its gardens and explore the village.

Amazing trip to Giverny with fantastic guide/driver, Pascal!

The tour was in English. Tour guide Pascal was amazing! His great knowledge of French history added some spice to tour. Giverny was glorious! The tour pace was excellent! It was an fantastic 1/2 day tour; exactly what we were hoping for!

Fabulous trip. The gardens were beautiful, as was the house. The 3 course lunch was absolutely lovely, as was the cake that we had in the afternoon. Giverny is beautiful and it was great to spend the day there.
