Liverpool: Open-Top Sightseeing Bus Tour
- Duration: 50 minutes
Met up with several other couples at the appointed meeting place near pier head. Guide was waiting and chatting to other people on this tour who also arrived a little early. Then spent time taking photos and listening to our guide explain many things related to the water front as well as the Fab Four. We did not measure the distance we walked but it was not too strenuous for us (60 year olds), even up a set of stairs (due to a road closure) were not taxing. Stopped several times to listen to some very interesting facts about the Beatles and Liverpool. Tour ended up taking about 2 hours 20 minutes. Really enjoyed the tour.
I often do city tours - and this was certainly one of the great ones. Mick combined his knowledge of Liverpool with his skills as a story teller to bring Liverpool‘s and the Beatle‘s history alive. Extremely informative and entertaining at the same time!
Excellent walking tour of city centre. Things were pointed out by our brilliant tour guide, Patrick, that we would have been unaware of otherwise. The tour included the history of the historic and iconic buildings in Liverpool in addition to the Beatles.
A great way to learn about the history of Liverpool and how the city developed over time. We were prepared for poor weather so that didn't affect our enjoyment. In difficult times an outdoor activity was practical and sensible.
Neil was a great tour guide, really knowledgeable and friendly. We were a group of 15 on a hen weekend and he made it a great start to the day, took some group photos for us, while including the other people too.
