This tour truly focused on the WOW factor! Each winery had something special to offer, making the experience more than just a wine tasting. The castle at Castello di Amorosa was impressive, the gondola at Sterling showed amazing views, and the history of the caves at Beringer made this tour informative and different from all the rest. We were able to enjoy and "revisit" the wines and not worry about driving and parking at each different location.
Enjoyed the first two stops in spite of the rainy day. Imagery and Benziger wineries had some excellent pours, and informative, attentive hosts. The last one, Black Stallion, had excellent reds as well, but due to the crowds (it was a weekend after all), were much less attentive to our group. Matt our guide was a focused, safe driver. He also accommodated the group's request for a quick Yountville stop at Bouchon Bakery. Yum!
Fun experience visiting boutique wineries in a small group of 8. The guide used conversation starters and soon we were all interacting as a group. Guide was knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. I would definitely do this again on a future trip to Napa! Bought some nice wines as well to bring back in checked baggage.
This was an amazing day. Alex is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Everyone in our group of six were all in agreement that this tour was well worth the money and one of the best tours we went on while on our visit to San Francisco.
Marc was an excellent guide. Wineries were all good, and one walked through the wine making facilities. One word of caution: the wine tasting areas are all outside, so dress appropriately.
