Full description

The tour will start in the morning with the pick-up from the established meeting point and a transfer by land to Herculaneum.

Your authorized guide will wait for you at the entrance of the ruins, for a visit of about 2 hours. You will walk together among the cardini (the “hinges” of the city), and decumanus (the ancient Roman roads) within the perfectly preserved streets of the old city.

Visit old domus (family homes), including the most famous one known as “The House of Neptune and Amphitrite”. Take in the ancient frescos, and discover ancient thermal baths, where you can admire splendid mosaics.

The visit will conclude with an accompaniment back to the starting point of the tour.
