From Nazca: 35-Minute Flight Over Nazca Lines

1. From Nazca: 35-Minute Flight Over Nazca Lines

After pickup from your hotel or bus station in Nazca, transfer to the Nazca aerodrome. Meet your representative and go to the check-in zone to wait for your flight. Get briefed on the nature of your tour and on safety instructions. The flight lasts 35-minutes and you will see 12 of the most representative figures drawn on the stony surface of the Nazca desert. Look out for representations of animals and plants, distributed in a labyrinth of lines, trapezes, and triangles which have been preserved for almost 2,000 years. The Nazca Lines are some of the most incredible remains from an ancient culture. These designs, some as long as 500 meters, can be truly appreciated from the sky at an altitude of 1,500 feet. After your experience, fly back to the aerodrome and head back to your hotel in Nazca.

Next, head to the airfield in Nazca, where you'll pass through security before boarding a small plane to view the famous Nazca Lines from up above. Sit back and relax on your 45-minute flight, as you view the incredible collection of giant geoglyphs — designs or motifs etched into the ground — that were created by the ancient Nazca culture. Tuck into a delicious traditional lunch upon landing before heading to your final stop, the Huacachina Oasis. This natural lagoon is surrounded by palm trees and desert dunes, from where you can watch the sun setting over the sand. Pump up your adrenaline and hop into sand buggies, and sandboard down the perfect dunes before returning to Lima late in the evening.

Everything happened as described. We were picked up from the hotel, dropped off at the airport and then everything was explained on the spot. The flight itself was fantastic too. The plane was new, the guide explained everything really well and we were able to see all the figures really well. I can definitely recommend the flight!

wow! It was such an incredible experience! It took us like 35 minutes (They are very precise with the fly time). We saw all the Nazca Lines. The pilot and the guide did a great job and explained relevant data from the Nazca and Paracas culture to us. I totally recommend this in your next Peru Trip!

We were a little anxious to make the flight in view of the comments (agitated flight, sick person…). Everything went great! It was great and I can only recommend! No turbulence, not sick, flawless takeoff and landing! Above all, do it and don't hesitate!

I love the experience. Our guide Luis was the best. They were on time, he answered all of my questions about Peru. Both the driver and the tour guide were polite. I could have asked for a better experience

Excellent performance. No nasty surprises. Hotel pick up on time. Excellent pilots. Friendly and attentive co-pilot (serving as a guide).
