Full description
Who knew that Lee Harvey Oswald was born in New Orleans? Throw in the mafia and you may just have the answer to one of the greatest unanswered questions of all time: who was behind the shooting of JFK? Throughout this tour, you will trace Oswald’s steps growing up in New Orleans, as well as during the months and weeks leading up to the assassination. This walking tour takes you into the heart of the dark mystery centered around 544 Camp Street. You can visit the actual locations around Lafayette Square, the Central Business District, and the French Quarter, all whilst following in Oswald’s footsteps. You will encounter the home Oswald left as a 17 year old to begin the strange odyssey that led to Dallas. You will also watch the very disturbing Zapruder film. You’ll see and hear from Oswald on archival film, and at the end, you will be left with the decision: assassin or patsy?

The guide, David, was very knowledgeable and amenable. Having been to Dealey Plaza as well this has only made my passion for the topic even greater.
