    I went with my wife and 4 kids (ages 3-12) and we had a great day. The food was great but you had to get in early before they shut service. The whale spotter/guide and captain were clearly experienced, giving lots of detail and finding us some humpbacks during the afternoon. There was lots of info about Sydney and its surrounds during the trips through the harbour too.

    Great cruise. We went on a day with poor weather but were delighted with being able to see a pod of dolphins. We were entertained with the dolphins playing really close to the boat. The crew were knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend it.

    Your dolphin adventure begins at d'Albora Marina, Nelson Bay at 6:15 AM. Once you've checked in and been fitted with your wetsuit, mask and snorkel, the vessel leaves the dock and travels out through the heads of Nelson Bay. Whilst traveling out to the Port Stephens-Great Lakes Marine Park, you'll be trained in the swim protocols and given a snorkel briefing (if swimmer option selected). Once the dolphins have been located and their behavior monitored and found to be favorable for a swim, the the first group of swimmers enters a net at the bow of the vessel, all the while attached with a safety lanyard to the catamaran.
