All tour participants must be able to swim to participate in this tour. Receive a short safety briefing before heading out to the Julian Rocks Marine Reserve. Journey to The Pass, about a 10-minute ride, and learn about this snorkeling spot. Get in the water for a 1-hour swim. Spot underwater creatures such as small wobbegong sharks, hard and soft corals, an assortment of rays, and three different kinds of sea turtles. Port Stephens: Unlimited Sandboarding & 4WD Sand Dune Tour

2. Port Stephens: Unlimited Sandboarding & 4WD Sand Dune Tour

The views alone are spectacular. Once you are in the dunes, the team will give you a rundown on sandboarding and how to use the handmade custom-designed boards for maximum safety and speed. Then you are off. Climb to the top of the dunes, jump on your board, then slide on down and repeat. Your ticket includes unlimited sandboarding so you can stay and play as long as you like. For most people that’s about 1 – 1.5 hours. When you're done just jump back aboard one of the 4WD buses, that leave every half an hour, and be taken back to the Birubi Beach starting point. It’s an amazing experience for everyone, no matter your age. The instructors are always on hand to help, answer any questions about sandboarding, Port Stephens or the dunes and to make sure you have maximum fun. You want to do this tour if you love wildlife! Dave was such a great guide, from perfect instructions on where to meet, to having so many snacks, water, and intros to Aussie culture and wildlife and nature facts all day! He got to know everyone in the small group, stopped for a beautiful lookout over the ocean complete with biscuits and vegemite sammys, then off to the Pie Shop for delish pies! From there, two gorgeous waterfalls with short easy walks between them in stunning surroundings. The valley and drive are beautiful! Finishing the day surrounded by roos and wombats, along with Dave's quick and delish cooking was fantastic - beer and wine and cookies and so much more! Dave will show you how to get the best photos of the animals while respecting their space. It started to rain on our trip and he had big sturdy umbrellas as well as pop up canopies for us to dine under. You don't want to miss this experience!

“The other Steve” is a fantastic tour guide! Very knowledgeable and interesting. He kept us laughing and wanting to learn more. Would highly recommend this trip as it has all the typical Australian things - koalas, kangaroos, scenery, beaches and wine.

We had great weather and exciting winds. The instructor did his best to show us sailing and the port. In the end we were able to gybe and tack. It was really great!!

It is great fun, it is highly recommended for anyone looking for fun. The guide is professional and overall experience is very good

Such a fun experience. Beautiful way to see Sydney.
