Celebrate the actions of the heroes and survivors of Stairwell B on a guided tour of the World Trade Center Complex. Follow the path taken by first responders and learn how they withstood the collapse of the 110-story tower while still inside it. Through photos and memoirs, the tour chronicles the events of 9/11, from the bravery of New York City’s firefighters to the Angel of Stairwell B and the 9/11 Surfer.
The guided tour ends at Memorial Plaza, where you’ll learn how the new World Trade Center Complex was designed and constructed. Then visit the National 9/11 Memorial Museum on your own. Discover artifacts found in the wreckage of the former Twin Towers, the first responding vehicles, and the planes that hit the towers.
Continue your self-guided visit by exploring the One World Observatory. Take the 47-second elevator ride up to the observation deck and watch the transformation of Manhattan on the elevator’s HD monitors. Gaze at the grand view from the deck, which on a clear day allows you to view up to 4 different states.
