On the first morning at 9 AM, a transfer vehicle will collect you from your hotel in Hanoi to the cruise ship. After being welcomed aboard with a complimentary drink check into your cabin and freshen up. Enjoy a special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing delicacies as you set sail through the Cua Van area to Lan Ha Bay. Admire the stunning karst islands and limestone outcrops of Lan Ha with their pristine, snow-white beaches. Enjoy time to explore Ba Trai Dao beach via kayaks or immerse yourself in the crystal clear waters. When you return to the ship, enjoy extensive happy hour drinks and dinner. Spend the evening relaxing with an exotic cocktail as you take in the picturesque landscape. Order an indulgent spa service, watch movies, go squid fishing or simply relax on the rooftop deck under the cover of a brightly illuminated sky. On the next morning, head to the upper deck to participate in a daily Tai Chi sessions or relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee, or juice as you watch the stunning scenery unfold before you. Enjoy a light breakfast of pastries, tea and coffee in the restaurant. The final stage of your trip is to be taken through the mysterious caves and among the remote islets via local rowing boats. 2. From Cat Ba: Ha Long Bay and Monkey Island Full-Day Cruise

After getting picked up from your hotel in Cat Ba, make the journey to Beo Pier, enjoying views of the mountains on the way. Upon boarding the boat, enjoy a scenic cruise around Lan Ha Bay, a quieter section of the more popular Ha Long Bay. Visit floating fishing villages where you can see the daily life of fishermen. Continue cruising and pass the border into Ha Long Bay. Get the chance to see different-shaped limestone such as Pen islet, Sailing islet, and Frog Islet. Stop for a swim in Cam Lagoon before enjoying a delicious lunch on the boat. Later, continue to Hang Ca, where you will stop to visit a fish farm. Afterward, kayak through Dark Cave, Bat Cave and Bright Cave. Visit the less-accessed areas to experience the most exotic scenery for yourself. After your kayak, head to a deserted boat for a swim, snorkel or lie down on the boat deck to drink, relax and take photographs. Before you head back to Cat Ba, pay a visit to Monkey island, hiking to the best viewpoint to admire the island.

3. From Hanoi: Mai Chau & Moc Chau Multi-Day Adventure Tour

Day 1: Start your adventure with pickup in a private vehicle from your hotel in the Old Quarter or designated meeting point. Set off to Mai Chau and stop on the way at Thung Khe mountain pass to see the impressive scenery of the North-West. Explore Lac Village and then stop for a local lunch at 12 PM. Taste and learn about authentic Vietnamese cuisine. In the afternoon, your tour guide will take you to visit the valley of Mai Chau. Get to know the locals and learn about Tai Dón culture. See how they craft unique brocades by hand. Head off to Moc Chau, with its immense fields of tea and an infinite variety of wildflowers. Check in to your accommodation and dig into a dinner of local specialties. Enjoy your free time and before turning in for the night in your homestay or bungalow. Day 2: Wake up to the beautiful morning with the sound of nature. Fill up on breakfast and start with a visit to the Dai Yem Waterfall and the Dong Son Moc Huong Cave (Doi Cave). Admire the cave’s beauty and listen to the legends described by your tour guide. Continue to the next beauty spot, the pine forest of Ang Village. Explore the surrounding nature including a lake, rolling hills of wildflowers, and fruit tree orchards. Use your free time after lunch in Moc Chau to go biking along hilly trails or investigate the town center. You can also join the locals in picking tea leaves. Additional optional activities include baths in fresh milk and fresh tea. Dine on local dishes at 6:30 PM and stay overnight in your homestay or bungalow. Day 3: Feeling recharged after breakfast, start your journey through the valleys, forests, and mountains to arrive in the villages of the H’Mong ethnic minority. Discover the local ways of life, their traditions, and sample the local food. Check out after lunch and take the bus back to Hanoi. Arrive back in Hanoi around 5.30 pm and get dropped off at the meeting place or your hotel in the Old Quarter.
