Our 90 minute experience of Nowa Huta was a fantastic tour that was made incredibly interesting by our amazing guide Mateusz. Mateusz made the tour fun as well as informative, adding funny anecdotes about his grandma and her experience during the communist era as well as answering every question we had with great knowledge. Firstly, we toured the abandoned steelworks administration building, walking through former offices containing relics from the Lenin era. We then went down to the underground bunker and explored the various communication rooms and living quarters. Our tour was great and would definitely recommend to anyone staying in and around Krakow to visit this hidden gem! We think the abandoned building should also be made into a museum!

We stay a week in Krakow. With 3 days of city pass you can easily optimize it. If you stay short, it will be difficult to organize the visits with the opening hours etc because with 12 tourist districts it takes time to travel

We had a great time with our guide. He has a lot of knowledge about the communisme and made our tour very interesting and laughable. Please book this tour so they can afford to keep the buildings in shape for the future

Excellent time capsule in the cold War period and the industrial risks
