This tour is prepared for those travelers who stay in the Rías Baixas and decide to get to know this beautiful area together with an official guide in a high-quality tour and without worrying about the car. This area is known for being a very popular place in summer, where all visitors visit its beaches, its wineries and take boat trips. They will do all this and much more in this itinerary designed to fully discover the secrets that this area hides.
Pontevedra is undoubtedly one of the must-see places in the Rías Baixas, and an exemplary city thanks to its pedestrianization. In this visit the guide will take us to the Church of the Pilgrim Virgin, Ruins of San Domingos, and other places of relevance. From here we head to Combarro. What would a visit to the Rías Baixas be like, without knowing Combarro, a fishing village par excellence, with its beautiful granaries near the sea, its small cobbled streets and its beautiful facades, details that make Combarro an idyllic place.
Leaving Combarro, we go to Illa da Toxa, one of the best-known enclaves within national tourism, where its Chapel of the Shells and its soap factory stand out, as well as the great beauty of its natural landscapes. In this place, after taking a guided tour, we will take a boat trip along the Ría de Arousa to see, among other things, the mussel rafts, something of great importance for the people of the area. On this boat we will enjoy a tasting of high quality wine and mussels.
If the walk, the wine and the mussels have not been enough, we will make a stop in O Grove, where travelers will have the opportunity to try local dishes, and taste the rich gastronomy of the area, since we will have free time for lunch.
With a full stomach and charged batteries, we will head to Cambados, the capital of Albariño, and one of the most important points of the Rias Baixas, knowing its origin, and touring this wonderful town.
To finish and as the perfect end to this incredible day, we will visit an Albariño wine cellar where we will learn about the entire production, labeling and production process. We will also participate in the tasting of 3 of its varieties. After all this we will set out to return customers to their point of origin.
