I recommend this tour or any tour to see the valley and go into the backcountry. You don't have to worry about taking your vehicle on a really rough road. They say cars can tackle it but it's very rough. The guide offered water and told many facts as we ventured into the valley. At the best stops and view points we were offered 5 to 10 minutes to get out of the van and take as many photos as we wanted. You get to see and hear more than you would driving yourself. Our tour guide was very informative which you wouldn't receive that information if you were driving yourself. The backcountry is as beautiful as the valley. Again I would highly recommend this tour or another tour. This 3.5 hour tour we were able to see all the big moments and alot more and still had time in the afternoon to sight see around the area.

Our guide was Larry. Let me tell you, he is fantastic! He told us Native folklore stories, explained the history of Monument Valley, explained the petroglyphs, and so much more. Patient with us, helpful to those with lessened abilities, and was just plane wonderful. Do yourself a big favor and go with this company. You will not be sorry if you do. Wonderful time. Well worth the cost.

This was a neat opportunity to get into the backcountry and see some beautiful rock formations and a petroglyph. We were super lucky to have the back of the truck to ourselves. It would not have been as much fun with other people since we basically got a private tour. Our guide was super. Knowledgeable, an excellent driver and she gave us some priceless tips for perfect picture spot.
