Full description

Walk along the Akerselva River, surrounded by old industrial buildings and parklands, to the Grünerløkka district. This hipster area of Olso is a colorful residential area with beautiful old wooden houses from the 1800s and facades covered in street art. Some of the most precious sights in the area are a giant chandelier, which hangs outside the area of Blå; old wooden buildings of Damstedet; and a cemetery called Vår Frelsers gravlund. The area was once home to one of Norway's most famous artist, Edvard Munch. As you walk the streets, you'll feel the artistic vibrations in the air and fully immerse yourself into the neighborhood's unique cultural atmosphere. Discover a different side of Oslo!

Meeting point

The tour departs from Youngstorget by the fountain in the middle of the square. The guide will be at the site and will be wearing a blue or white with the logo “OURWAY.” The logo may also be held up as a sign.

Very nice tour thanks to Lina our guide. HOwerver it was -15 degree that day and after one hour walking in the freezing Oslo we could not listen properly anymore on any stories unfortunately about the bohemian part of Oslo. We remained with the group (with 3 others tourists) but focussed on the pain and freezing area and we did not really appreciate the remaining walking tour. Few stop to grab some coffee hot drinks would have been appreciated due to extreme conditions to make it worthy and keep the tourists happy :) this is the only thing we have to share otherwise it was a great experience and we have really enjoyed our short stay in Oslo. Another guide part of the group was here and also share some tips for undergroung places to discover and chill out venues! Fantastic and very friendly

Nice walk, away from the crowds

Guide was very nice, I was lucky enough to be the only participant at that day, so I got a "private tour". She took me to many nice places, away from the most common tourist attractions and she also gave me an insight to Oslo lifestyle and cultur... All in all it was a nice morning, I would say it's good value for that price.
