Depart from the White Tower of Thessaloniki at 8:00 AM and head to Ouranoupoli by bus. You'll arrive in Ouranoupoli at around 11:00 AM in front of the Byzantine Prosphori Tower and board the boat for the cruise around Mount Athos. During the cruise you have the chance to see the ports of the Holy Monasteries of Helandariou and Konstamonitou, the colorful Monastery of Docheiariou, the nearby Monastery of Xenophontos, the renovated Holy Monastery of Agiou Panteleimonos - the Russian monastery, the Holy Monastery of Xeropotamou, the main harbor of Mount Athos Daphne, the impressive Holy Monastery of Simonos Petras and the Holy Monasteries of Osiou Grigoriou. Lastly, you can see Agia Anna, just below the imposing Mount Athos, which stands magnificently at 2,000 meters above sea level. After the cruise, visit the island of Ammouliani where you'll have free time to enjoy a swim in the emerald sea.

Delight in a fun cruise aboard a glass-bottom boat from Ouranoupoli's port to the famous beaches of Sithonia and the islands of Vourvourou and Diaparos. Enjoy plenty of opportunity for swimming and snorkeling, and savor a traditional Greek barbecue meal for lunch. Board your ferry in the port of Ouranoupoli and set sail at 11:00 AM. Pass over the most famous reef in the area and admire the yellow corals from your glass-bottom boat. Travel to the second peninsula of Haidiki, Sithonia, and take some fabulous photos of the most famous beaches. Next, stop at the Blue Lagoon for 2 hours. Swim and snorkel in the turquoise waters of the bay at a depth of 2 meters using the snorkeling equipment and swimming toys included with your tour. After swimming and snorkeling, replenish your energy with a barbecue full of traditional Greek flavors, such as souvlaki, Greek salad, tzatziki, and bread. Enjoy a glass of wine and beverages for your children with your meal, but inform the local partner a few days in advance if you require a vegetarian meal. Once you've had your lunch, make your way to Alikes beach on Ammouliani. Stop for 1.5 hours for more swimming opportunities, or sip a cocktail at one of the various beach bars. The tour concludes with a return to Ouranoupolis at 5:00 PM.

5. From Ouranoupolis: Sunset Cruise to Ammouliani Island

Climb aboard a boat in the port of Ouranoupolis and sail towards the north coast of the island of Ammouliani to watch the sunset off the coast of Chalkidiki.  Relax on deck and feel the cool breeze of the evening as you listen to the sound of the sea. Choose from a selection of drinks, including ouzo, wine from Mt. Athos, sparkling wine, beers, cocktails and soft drinks with light snacks.   Continue to the main port of Ammouliani to enjoy 2 hours of free time to explore the pretty fishing village at leisure. Use the time to find a traditional tavern to sample some of the local dishes or enjoy fresh fish. Alternatively, relax at a waterfront coffee shop before sailing back to Ouranoupolis.

Very fresh boat, clean and nice. Friendly staff. I recommend that you bring your own food as it is a very small lunch. There are sales on board. That I asked for a veg. Lunch had been missed by GYG luckily we went past the night before departure oh double checked so they arranged it.

It was a great trip (kurva jó)! We have visited a nice snorkelling place and jumped a lot from the boat, than we had a great time at Alikes beach. The lunch was small but tasty, would recommend it anytime!
