1. From Santiago: Excursion to Ribeira Sacra and Ourense

Discover the unique Ribeira Sacra area along the banks of the Miño and Sil Rivers. Let its centuries-old vineyards and the charms of the Romanesque captivate you. Enjoy a catamaran ride down the Sil River, discover the Monastery of San Pedro de Rocas, and explore the city of Ourense. Depart from Santiago in the morning and head toward Ourense. Take a 1.5-hour catamaran ride upstream through the canyons of the River Sil. On the boat, taste a typical wine from the area. At the end of the ride, go to one of the viewpoints that surrounds the Ribeira Sacra to see the immensity of its landscape. Next, stop at the Monastery of San Pedro de Rocas, a unique architectural symbol of the Ribeira Sacra, located in the heart of the region. Then, continue to Ourense, known as the thermal capital of Galicia. Enjoy free time for lunch and visit the historic center. Stroll through its cobbled streets and find out why it is known as the city of bridges before returning to Santiago in the evening.

Excellent excursion. We went with Sonia as a guide and Antonio as a driver. Both out of 10. Lots of explanations. We sailed with a catamaran through the Sil river to be able to see the vineyards from below and then they took us to the viewpoints to see it from above. I loved the Ribeira Sacra. In the afternoon, after eating, we visit Ourense. Everything very well organized.

Had an excellent trip to Ribeira de sacra while visiting Santiago de Compostela. Lots of different things to see and had an excellent guide called Roy who was extremely knowledgeable and made the trip so interesting.

Very beautiful and delightful excursion into the nature of the Ribeira Sacra, which went from one highlight to the next. Very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide and a safer friendly bus driver.

A very nice, enjoyable and fun excursion, my most sincere congratulations especially for the attention of our guide Sonia who was super nice and with unusual knowledge. Thank you

magnificent. The route is beautiful. Sonia, the guide, is 10 points (professional, educated, affectionate and attentive). That's how I like to travel.
