On this private day trip from Chiang Mai to Pai, you will be picked up in the early morning and travel for a 3.5-hour drive up Highway 1095 to Pai. Pai is a small but charming town with its tranquil atmosphere surrounded by mountains, fields, and streams. The road from Chiang Mai to Pai will take you some of the most verdant green mountain countries that you will ever see. The trip includes visits to Pai town, Chinese Santichon Community, the Historical Bridge, Coffee in Love Cafe, the Buddhist Temple, and the waterfall. You can order a drink or cheesecake dessert on the balcony while enjoying the view at Coffee in Love Cafe. Visit the Historical Bridge, built in 1942 it is part of the route from Chiang Mai to Burma. The next stop is Wat Phra That Mae Yen temple which sits atop a hill and offers those who make the climb to the top some decent views of Pai.

Embark on a one-hour drive to the top of Doi Suthep National Park. Our first stop at Monthatan waterfalls gives us a glimpse into the diversity of flora in this National Park. Hike through the beautiful Northern Thai highlands to a forgotten Hill Tribe village. Take in the viewpoints to the east and to the north of the Mae Ping valley, where lunch will be had. After a good rest, start the ride down Suthep National Park on a smooth road. After a stop at the Queen Summer Palace and amazing views, continue to the famous Wat Suthep. The magnificent temple grounds reach 3600 feet in altitude. Continue cruising downhill on comfortable mountain bikes to the ancient Wat Pha Lat.

2 Days 1 Night Experience Trek Mae Tang Area Day 1: ChiangMai – Local market – Karen Hilltribe Village 08h00 Depart by truck to the North of Chiang Mai. A short stop will be made at Mae Malai local market to purchase some foods and vegetables needed during the trek. Stop at Mok Fah Waterfall for swimming and relaxation. Transfer by truck to Karen village. Afternoon Lunch at Local Restaurant. Continue to Karen Village. Start trek about 3 ½ hour to another Karen hill tribe village at Bann Pa Kao Lam. Evening Walk around the village to see their local lifestyle. Feeding the Elephant and bathing Elephant in the river. Spend 40 Min to take care of the elephant. Dinner and overnight at the Karen village. There’s usually some entertainment (Jokes – Games – Funny Stories) led by the guide after dinner. Day 2: Karen Hilltribe Village – Bamboo Raft – Lahu Hilltribe Village – Shan Village – ChiangMai Morning Breakfast at the village. Trek about 1 hour to the rafting point. Take a bamboo raft along the Tang River through many rapids for 2 ½ hours (depend on water level) to Shan village, Bann Sob Kai. On the way stop at Lahu hill tribe village at Bann Pong Ngan. Afternoon Late lunch at Shan village. Transfer back to Chiang Mai by local truck and transfer to hotel on reservation.
