Rome in A Day Group Tour with Colosseum & Vatican by Minivan

1. Rome in A Day Group Tour with Colosseum & Vatican by Minivan

Rome, a lifetime is not enough: as this popular saying beautifully puts it, in Rome there is so much to see that it would take many years to see everything, and yet probably miss something. But what if you only have one day in Rome? Thanks to our tour, carefully studied and designed after 20 years of experience in the field, you will be able to make the most out of your time in the Eternal City. Our groups, limited to a maximum of 15 people, are small and intimate in order to give you the best experience and to facilitate the interaction with your expert guide, who will be with you for 7 hours. Comfortably traveling by minivan, you will be able to maximise your touring time, without the hassle of trying to get from one site to another via taxi or public transportation. Our Roman day starts early with a fascinating visit to the highlights of the Ancient City: on our tour, you will explore the imposing ruins of the Roman Forum and literally walk in the footsteps of emperors, senators, common people and slaves. Then you will proceed to the Colosseum and with the help of your expert guide, you will discover the secrets of Rome’s most iconic building and hear fascinating yet terrible stories about the people who lived and died there, thus gaining more insight on the history and the mentality of the ancient Romans. You will then drive to the city centre, where your guide will take you on a magnificent stroll among the most beautiful squares and fountains of Rome: you will marvel at the majesty of the Pantheon, admire the beauty of Piazza Navona, with the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, work of the master of the Baroque, Gianlorenzo Benini and also throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain. After a reinvigorating lunch break, get ready to board our minivan again to reach the Vatican: with our skip the line tickets, you will be able to avoid the long lines and explore the Pope’s kingdom. Stroll around the beautiful Vatican Museums while listening to the engaging commentary of your guide, then get ready to end your exciting Roman day with the grand finale, featuring the gems of the Vatican: the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.
