Very glad we pre-booked the tickets using Get Your Guide. It meant we didn’t have to join the really long queue to get into the museums and Sistine Chapel. It was really easy to find the location and exchange our e-ticket for an actual ticket once we were there. We didn’t book a guide for this activity as we wanted to walk around at our own pace but to us it was definitely worth prebooking the tickets.

The Vatican and Sistine Chapel are just things everyone should see in their lifetime. There is so much incredible art there. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with the ticket exchange but that ended up being very easy. Keep in mind there are just a lot of people and it takes quite a bit of time to get to the Sistine chapel, so make sure you block enough of your day to get through it all!

we went at 9:30 am and we didn't have to wait at all at that long line. we immediately got inside exchanged the voucher and started our trip. we saw every room. it took us a lot of time. if you don't enjoy art then the Vatican is not for you. there are a lot of underrated areas with zero People because groups dont visit them. its very crowded so be patient

There’s no need to buy tickets ahead or reserve “skip the line” in mid-September. The queues are short enough to join and just wait a bit. But do definitely visit, it’s awesome!

We skipped the line and entered the museum straight away.
