I happened to be the only participant on the tour. So I could experience a very personal atmosphere throughout the tour. My guide Celine gave me an ample and colorful explanation on history of the Champagne region and the production of champagne. Also we talked a lot about the cultural and social differences between France and Japan as I am from Japan, which gave me a valuable insight in understanding French people’s way of thinking and how they see the world.

Very good one-day snapshot of the region showing big and small.

Vincent was a very knowledgable guide who covered much more than just champagne production. The contrast between the big winery and the small family run wineries was very interesting. My only criticism is that I should have been warned of all the steps. I have bad knees and would have brought my stick with me if I had known.

Nice getaway in champagne !!

Thanks to the friendliness and knowledge of our guide, we enjoyed a great time in the Champagne region. The quality of the guide (Pamela) is very important because it paces and enlivens all day ... The choice of stages, very balanced to get a good overview of the world of champagne, the house of Moet et Chandon (ah, the cellars with the excellent Benoît ..), the vineyard, with a pedagogical guide to understand how the grape is formed and ripened, the small producer and his antique but functional press .. only happiness. Slight downside on the restaurant, but the friendly service makes you forget the menu .. more than modest. All in all, excellent experience that we recommend.
