Full description

Visit the only place in the world that grows and produces Champagne on a full-day trip from Paris. Take a guided tour of the Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne House and a family-run winery. Enjoy included tasting opportunities and the chance to discover Reims Cathedral during the day.

Start the tour from Paris on a minibus that will take you to Champagne. Visit the quaint chapel of the Abbey at Hautvillers, which is also the gravesite of Dom Pérignon, the father of Champagne. Learn about him with your guide, then meet with a local producer to hear about the wine-growing process.

Enjoy a fully-guided tour at the House of Nicolas Feuillatte, the world’s largest producer of Champagne. Taste 3 glasses of Champagne on your Champagne house tour. You'll also have the opportunity to taste at least 3 different types of Champagne at a local family-run winery and pick up some bottles for souvenirs.

Before heading back to Paris, visit the Reims Cathedral of Notre Dame, one of the defining models of Gothic art, and have free time to see the area where 25 French Kings were crowned.

Adrien was a fantastic tour guide & helped to make this a fun & memorable tour. The information he shared with us made it both educational & enjoyable. We really liked the small group & we were able to bond with everyone in the group. The smaller champagne house, Michel Fagot, was super. We really liked the champagne there & enjoyed the caves. Moet & Chandon was also great. There are a lot of stairs to get to & from the caves so it is worth knowing that in case you have mobility issues. I would highly recommend this tour.

WONDERFUL!! Worth every bit of money. Loved our tour guide Will, and all the lively stops! We were actually surprised that we enjoyed the small champagne house bottles more than the large commercial Champagne. An amazing day! A word to the wise though, don't be late!! there is about a 5 minute grace period and if you take a taxi to the meeting point, you could be delayed due to traffic. We made it in the van by sheer luck and the fact that people asked to go to the bathroom before the tour started.

This tour was the perfect way for my best friend (of over 50 years) and me to begin our adventure in France. We were staying in Paris, had just arrived the day before, but were quite interested in seeing the countryside so we booked this tour. It gave us the most informative background/history of France and the Champagne region so it was a beneficial preview to what France is all about. Our guide, Jean Phillipe, was exceptional. Our group was small, cordial and respectful of each other. We laughed, asked questions, shared stories and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Every phase of the tour was well planned providing clear and concise information. It was wonderful!!
