Meeting point was at 8:45 am. We were at the market at 10:15 am. We had time to do our shopping for lunch until 10:50 am. A walk past the castle and we finally got to the bikes. These were nothing special, probably similar to the other companies. Unfortunately, there were only 3 bicycle baskets for everyone :-(. My girlfriend is a beginner by bicycle, unfortunately the first part of the ride took place outside the park, to the side entrance of the park. We then left the group without our bikes. We wanted to go with them follow the park train but it runs the lap right into the other lap. The train was lousy: noisy, slow and uncomfortable. Also, it's boring without a guide. So I would definitely recommend a bike tour. Is this tour better than that? I hardly believe the others, but they start later and were easier for us to reach, so we had to get up later.

Great tour. Joshua was a great guide and the palace was amazing. Overall we had a great time - biking is the way to go. Warning - DO NOT leave food in your bicycle basket, even if it’s covered and tied up - the birds will eat your lunch in its entirety.

The best way to see Versailles!

I highly recommend this trip. You will see more of the city, chateau and grounds than is possible visiting by foot. Our guide, Mark, was exceptional. He created a fun, relaxing, and informative environment. My personal favorite part was shopping in the market and the picnic lunch by the Grand Canal. Take advantage of this opportunity to take a trip back in time at Versailles.
