We did the 9pm cruise and it was what was to be expected. The audio was a little odd and not very informational but that is not why we chose the cruise anyway. the dock is easy to find and if you go on the 9 o'clock out line started forming 50 minutes early so get there early, especially if you want upper deck. The city/eiffle tower lights don't turn on until 9 do I would recommend doing this time for a true illuminations tour

Everything worked smoothly. After 8:30 p.m. the lights of Paris go on. Every hour on the hour, from 9 p.m. in summer, the Eiffel Tower sparkles in full force - breathtaking. The ship was almost empty at this time, we all had plenty of space and distance from the other guests.

Great trip! We had cast off at 9 p.m. The upper deck was quite full, the lower one with the outside area was empty and freely accessible. We drove into the sunset, so to speak, and on arrival we were allowed to photograph the Eiffel Tower with the moon overhead. It couldn't be more perfect.
