Mr Kam was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. On the tour was myself, my husband and a young man traveler. Nice small group meant it was easy to ask questions. The trek was not an easy trail at times. We’re used to these types of hikes in our Rocky Mountains, so this was not a problem for us but could be problematic if mobility is an issue. We stopped at the lower temple where a monk ordination was taking place. We were then driven up to the top of Doi Suthep where there was a huge complex temple and LOTS of people- praying, giving offerings- obviously a very religious place for Buddhists. Tourism in Thailand is currently low due to COVID2019 and no Chinese tourists being allowed out of China, so this was the first time we saw so many Asians in one place. Lunch padthai was okay. We stopped at a waterfall and dipped our toes in. Water level is really low due to drought conditions. We were grateful to be driven back to our hotel even tho the description said we wouldn’t be.

Our guide Maggie was excellent. On time and exceeded our expectation in every way. She gave us excellent background to sites, story of Buddha, directed us with temple norms and ensured we were comfortable the whole day. She even made a huge effort to help take photos of the two of us during our time at sticky waterfalls. The lunch spread was amazing. She took us to lunch and had it ordered before we got there. Super easy and convenient. We never felt rushed and she was always happy to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend Maggie and this tour.

Great time! Mr. Kam is a great guide very funny and knowledgeable. The hike was quite easy, anyone healthy will have no problems at all even if not very athletic. But it was a nice descent from the temple through the jungle. Food was simple but very good Pad Thai and fresh fruits. The waterfall is nice to bathe in and comes at almost the end of the hike so it is refreshing. Total time was less than expected around 4 hours. It was definitely worth it for Mr. Kam's stories and his clear love for the forest.

An amazing day! The private tour meant we can take things at out own pace. Our guide Tas was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our driver Wan also provided a grate service. They go out of their way to help you and can even accommodate any special detour requests. The temple was very very nice and the sticky waterfall was very fun! Would highly recommend! Much more comfortable than other big tour groups!

Sid and Pan were great guide and driver! Sid took his time with us at the temple and added Khae Soi to lunch at my request. We never felt rushed. Several waters and snacks provided as well as useful travel information in Chiang Mai. Their sunny dispositions rubbed off on us and we enjoyed the Sticky Waterfall hike. I highly recommend this tour and guide!
