What people are saying about Perfume Pagoda

Andy was a great tour guide. He knew a lot about the history of the Pagoda, a lot about the Buddhist beliefs and Daoism. He did a great job explaining the plan for the trip and everything. The Pagoda itself was amazing. There were a lot of steps to get there but it was worth the hike to meet the people on the way and Andy was great at divulging information about the people that live there and the pagoda itself! The information and the history that Andy gave us was the best part. For example, when we went to the outer Pagoda, we saw a wooden fish hanging from one of the entryway rooftops. It had a mallet with it like it was a gong. Andy did not know what it was but he was kind enough to research it after the tour and he sent us some information on it through whatsapp.

We were twenty people can we compare this to a small group? But everyone was charming and chatting with everyone. The boat ride to the temple 1 hour on the way and 1 hour on the return is a bit boring.

Lovely trip to one of the most holy places in Vietnam. Definitely worth a visit and our local guide was amazing at giving us all the ins and outs

The visit to the pagoda was fantastic, very few people in January and the guide was really nice. Great ! Thank you !
