Full description
The day begins with pickup from your downtown hotel and heads to Smith Memorial Arch. Listen to fascinating stories about the history of Philadelphia, then board a yacht for a 1 hour cruise along the scenic Delaware River. Afterwards, visit the largest City Hall in the US and take in spectacular 360-degree views of the city from its open-air observation deck. Next, enjoy a narrated drive through Philadelphia and pass by some of the most famous historical landmarks including Betsy House, Letitia House, Benjamin Franklin’s grave, and Love Park. The final stop of the day is Independence Hall, where you can see the Liberty Bell. Learn about the history of the Liberty Bell as well as its significance today. Hear stories of the abolitionists, women’s suffrage activists, and civil rights leaders who have all used this bell. At the end of an epic adventure, relax on the return journey to your hotel.
